Pete "Donnie"
Served in 4 RIFLES, three operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Petes course was funded by Resurgence, through a kind donation made by James Kirby's family. James was a former Rifleman working in Gaza delivering humanitarian aid. He was killed alongside three other UK nationals whilst helping those in desperate need of food and water. James was also a keen paramotor pilot and very popular in the paramotor community. The facilitation of funds and training was delivered by Launch It Paramotoring (Somerset), a school run by two of James's close friends.
Kieran "Millie"
Served in the Royal Navy's Submarine service, multiple operational deployments.
Kieran served on Trafalgar Class submarines for 13 years completing over 1000 days at sea on operations. This roll took him around the globe from the Middle East to the North Pole, often without matt seeing the light of day. Kierans introduction to paramotoring was at Bore Chasers 2026, he is now flying as often as possible in Cornwall where he resides with his fiancé and three children. Kieren trained with Paramotor Training (Membury) and was funded by Resurgence.
Matt
Served in the RAF as a search and rescue pilot, numerous tours of both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Matt's course was funded by funds raised at the PMC summer fly-in. He is currently training at Membury Airfield with paramotortraining.com (Swindon)
Tim
Served as a Royal Navy Commando, completed tours of both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tim's course was funded by trading equipment
generously donated by Ian Green a former member of the RAF. His training was delivered by FlyDynamic (Yorkshire)
